WEST THRIFTY UNIT

The West Thrifty Unitization expands over 1,270 acres of oil and natural gas reserves in Brown County, Texas and was originally operated by Conoco and Hess Oil companies. There are over 50 wells on the property, all drilled to produce from the Fry Field. The Fry Field, which produces from the Pennsylvania Strawn (Fry) sandstone reservoir located at a depth of around 1,300 feet, produced at a peak rate of 30,000 barrels of oil per day in the 1930s. The field’s estimated production to date is over 8 million barrels of oil.

Xtreme is the operator and owner of 90% of the working interest of the West Thrifty Unit.

Xtreme is using water flood repressurization stimulation to revitalize the formation’s pressure thereby re-establishing and increasing the production of the reservoir. There are over a dozen wells on the property currently producing oil in commercial quantities. Xtreme is combining the success of the advanced secondary recovery technology with a new well drilling program to produce the nearly 5 million barrels of recoverable oil remaining.
